We previewed three water-themed photo shows up this summer, featuring some great vintage beach and surf photography. Here: the Smyrna Surf Club, circa 1965, part of Surfing Florida: A Photographic History at the Pensacola Museum of Art.
We also round up a photo survey of beach photography on view at the Corcoran Gallery in Washington D.C., and a water-themed Ansel Adams retrospective at the Peabody Essex Museum in Massachusetts.
